Flood victims invited to ‘Flood Grief Counseling Seminar’

TERRE HAUTE — Emotional help for flood victims is available today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at a “Flood Grief Counseling Seminar” provided by Cummins Behavioral Health Systems Inc. in the United Methodist Temple.

“The purpose is to allow individuals affected by flood damage a chance to share issues and concerns,” said Dave McIntyre, director of county operations for Cummins, in an e-mail, “a form of psychological first aid.”

United Methodist Temple is at 5301 S. U.S. 41. Anyone is welcome, and the seminar is free. Care coordination resource information also will be available.
