Clay City women arrested on drug dealing charge

Staff report

CLAY CITY — A Clay City woman was arrested Thursday on an allegation of dealing a controlled substance.

Jill Jackson, 46, is accused of selling hydromorphone — a generic form of Dilaudid, a scheduled II controlled drug used for pain control.

Police learned that Jackson had been allegedly stealing medication from a sick relative and selling it to others, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department.

Jackson was in the Clay County Jail late Thursday under $25,000 cash bail.
