Three men charged with attempted burglary

Staff report

BLOOMFIELD — Three men remained in jail Friday in Bloomfield on allegations in two attempted burglaries in Greene County.

Police arrested Devin E. Grounds, 20, Bloomington; Shan A. Henline, 46, Solsberry; and Troy D. Robertson, 44, Bloomington.

Deputies responded to a 911 call from a woman on South Greene County Line Road around 7:51 a.m. Friday reporting a man was at her home and trying to break into it.

The woman reported that the man saw her and ran behind a horse trailer, trying to hide.

Deputies arrested Grounds on allegations of attempted residential entry, possession of marijuana and reckless possession of paraphernalia.

His bail in the Greene County jail was set at $6,000.

In Solsberry, a resident called deputies around 1 p.m. Thursday reporting that two men had been burglarizing his home upon his return.

The two men fled, but deputies caught them based on their description and the vehicle in which they escaped, according to a department report.

Henline and Robertson were arrested on allegations of theft, residential entry and criminal mischief.

Robertson’s bail was set at $8,500 and Henline was detained Friday without bail.
