Staff report

JASONVILLE — State Rep. Bruce Borders, R-Jasonville, announced Thursday that he will seek re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives in District 45.

“It is a tremendous honor to serve Hoosiers in District 45 and it is no secret that I have fought hard for issues that are important to my district, including the elimination of property taxes along with immediate property tax reform,” he said.

District 45 includes portions of Vigo, Greene, Daviess, Sullivan and Knox counties.

Borders was first elected to the Indiana House in 2004 and is a member of the Local Government Committee, Insurance Committee and the Statutory Committee on Interstate and International Cooperation.
