Vigo County Jail Log: July 18, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wenesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Kyler S. Key, 20, 2400 block of East Quinn Avenue Lot 33, Terre Haute, booked 4:30 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and leaving scene-property damage.

Raymone L. Melton, 21, 1900 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 9:58 a.m. Probation violation and criminal conversion.

Todd L. Prilaman, 40, 1400 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 10:21 a.m. Public intoxication.

Mark Pitts, 20, 2000 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:16 p.m. False reporting/informing.

Jamarr E. Ellington, 32, 2100 block of 23rd Half Drive, Terre Haute, booked 2:42 p.m. Failure to appear, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and driving while suspended.     

Jennifer L. Kensell, 38, 1300 block of North 19th Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:27 p.m. Theft and criminal trespass.

Gladys A. Weger, 28, 400 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:09 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Donald M. Riley, 63, 100 block of Third Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:33 p.m. Failure to appear.

James B. Stabler, 59, 2500 block of South 19th, Terre Haute, booked 8:41 p.m. Public intoxication.

Mike Heyen, 54, 2300 block of South Robinson Place, West Terre Haute, booked 8:57 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Kevin A. Burton, 37, 4500 block of South Gaslight Place, Terre Haute, booked 9:29 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Sandra Talley, 42, 4500 block of South Gaslight Place, Terre Haute, booked 9:38 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Dustin B. Kent, 27, 900 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:46 p.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct. 

Wednesday

William D. Kennedy, 21, 1800 block of East County Road 900 North, Brazil, booked 1:31 a.m.  Operating while intoxicated and leaving scene-property damage.

Charles W. Hargis, 61, 5700 block of North Erickson Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:47 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Justin C. Hurtt, 23, no address given, Terre Haute, booked 3:57 a.m. Possession controlled substance.           

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
