Vigo County Jail Log: July 12, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Jessie A. Morris, 29, 300 block of Kent Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 10:36 a.m. Failure to appear.

Terry Montgomery, 47, 8700 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 2 p.m. Probation violation.

William E. Duling, 32, 1800 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute, booked noon. Court order.

John Johnson, 24, Carbon, booked 3:51 p.m. Probation violation.

William Wyatt, 24, 3000 block of South 21st Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:34 p.m. Bond revocation.

Sherri Fields, 31, Indianapolis, booked 5:14 p.m. Theft.

Bryant D. Jackson, 23, Indianapolis, booked 5:17 p.m. Theft.

Chauncey L. Thornton, 27, 1400 block of South 11 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:01 p.m. Resisting law enforcement.

Tony A. Myles, 21, 1200 block of North Fourth Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:06 p.m. Probation violation.

Harold D. Myers, 55, 10 block of North Blakely, Terre Haute, booked 9:44 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Thursday

Tommy Dykes, 22, 100 block of South Ridge Road, Terre Haute, booked 1:46 a.m. Resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, criminal recklessness, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of handgun.

Kyle Rightsell, 29, 7000 block of North Erickson Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:36 a.m. Habitual traffic violator, driving while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
