Vigo County Jail Log: Aug. 16, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Eric Evans, 47, 1700 block of South 13th Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:39 a.m.  Battery, criminal conversion and public intoxication.  

Jacque D. Eversole, 27, 5000 North Lafayette Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:53 a.m. Court order.

Nancy Mercer, 42, 3200 block of North 22nd Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:44 p.m. Failure to appear.

Ronda L. Wilson, 52, 1400 block of Sprouse Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:51 p.m. Criminal conversion and probation violation.

Clarence H. Fagg, 40, 800 block of West 13th Paris Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 3:58 p.m. Failure to appear.

Dustin Hojem, 25, 2200 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:28 p.m. Possession of firearm by violent felon and possession of paraphernalia.  

Kayla D. King, 20, 2400 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:32 p.m. Possession of firearm by violent felon and possession of paraphernalia.

Gloria J. Scott, 66, 2600 block of North 11th Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:41 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Brandon C. Holland, 23, 1600 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:57 p.m. Criminal trespass and failure to appear.

Thursday

Michael A. Shaw, 19, no address given, booked 12:34 a.m. Public intoxication and minor consuming alcohol.    

Victor Boehmer, 21, 1900 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:01 a.m. Possession of handgun without license, public intoxication and failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
