Vigo County Jail Log: Nov. 14, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Christopher S. Newman, 23, 2600 block of College Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 8:43 a.m. Failure to appear and probation violation (two counts).

Chelsea Phillips, 26, 2400 block of Liberty Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:51 p.m. Operating while intoxicated .

Jamie E. Poe, 38, 3800 block of North 25th, Terre Haute, booked 2:31 p.m. Bond revocation and probation violation.  

Lincoln R. Shaw, 44, 600 block of Monterey Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 4:55 p.m. Bond revocation.

Ernest Williamson, 52, 2600 block of North 27th Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:53 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Shakyra E. Williams, 22, 2600 block of North Hastings Court, Lafeyette, booked 6:03 p.m. Driver never licensed.

Jerry D. Shake, 18, 300 block of South 15th, Terre Haute, booked 6:26 p.m. Invasion of privacy, possession of chemical reagant and maintaing a common nuisance.

Chad R. Crewes, 22, 2600 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:31 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Jamie L. Carter, 28, 7500 block of West Lathrop, Terre Haute, booked 10:28 p.m. Bond revocation.

Danny A. Goodwin, 21, 900 block of South 16th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:27 p.m. Failure to appear.

Wednesday

Tim Riehm, 22, 3300 block of Goldenrod Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:07 a.m. Theft.

James A. Grove III, 31, 800 block of East Sunset Pike Drive, Terre Haute, booked 1:42 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Jesse P. Kelly, 19, 600 1/2 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:21 a.m. Minor consuming alcohol.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
