Reservation deadline is Friday for Allen Chapel murder-mystery

TERRE HAUTE — Only a few days remain to make reservations to attend a murder-mystery dinner theater that will serve as a fundraiser for the preservation of Historic Allen Chapel.

“Cirque du Murder” is a murder-mystery whodunit, complete with Pete the Barker, Waldo the Clown, the Bearded Lady and Barnum & Bailey’s circus music.

The plot involves one of the cast members of the repertory company being  “murdered,” a “crime” the audience will help solve.

The fundraiser includes a cocktail hour, sit-down dinner and live auction of select packages — such as “Skeedaddle Out of Town” and “Don’t be a Whiner — Be a Winer” — prior to the performance.

“Cirque du Murder” will be 5:30-9 p.m. Sept. 27 at The Landing, Fort Harrison.

Tickets are $55 each or $400 per table.

Attendance is by reservation-only, and the deadline to make reservations is Friday.

Call 812-234-2718 for more information or to make reservations.
