Vigo County Jail Log: June 21, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Kena E. Gurley, 22, 200 block of S. Green St., Staunton, was booked at 8:44 a.m. Tuesday. Failure to appear.

Jerry W. Parks, 55, 1300 block of N. 26th, Terre Haute, was booked at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday. Probation violation.

John D. Quillen, 22, 5300 block of W. Jones Ave., West Terre Haute, was booked at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday. Robbery.

James Williams, 24, 1300 block of Third Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday. Burglary.

Jimmy L. Douglas, 22, 7400 block of N. Robertson St., Terre Haute, was booked at 1:53 p.m. Tuesday. Possession controlled substance.

Ernest E. Atkinson, 31, 1500 block of Second Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday. Parole violation.

Toni L. Scott, 24, 1600 block of Seventh Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday. Possession of methamphetamine.

James B. Rich, 20, 700 block of South Sixth, Terre Haute, was booked at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday. Criminal trespass and minor consuming alcohol.

Anthony J. Serkosky, 58, 2000 block of North 26th, Terre Haute, was booked at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday. Driver never licensed and operating while intoxicated.

Gary J. Morris Jr., 18, 500 block of Fourth Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 3:43 a.m. Wednesday. Burglary.

Jeramie Vicars-Goings, 29, 1500 block of South 20th St., Terre Haute, was booked at 3:58 a.m. Wednesday. Manufacture methamphetamine and bond revocation.

Jimmy E. Flores, 21, 1200 block of Spruce St., Terre Haute, was booked at 4:33 a.m. Wednesday. Operating while intoxicated.

Joseph A. Sims, 29, 2100 block of Dillman, Terre Haute, was booked at 10:38 a.m. Wednesday. Robbery.

  John R. Brown, 31, 1000 block of Third Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday. Failure to appear three counts and resisting law enforcement two counts.

  Andre D. Sibley, 39, 1500 block of Cruft St., Terre Haute, was booked at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday. Probation violation.

  Carrie A. Millis, 28, 300 block of South Fourth St., West Terre Haute, was booked at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday. Court order.

  Darius D. Ashton, 20, 2200 block of Cleveland Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 4:46 p.m. Wednesday. Failure to appear.

  Juanita M. Pennell, 43, 1900 block of W. County Road 850 N., Shelburn, was booked at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday. Failure to appear.

 Amanda Styles, 30, 2600 block of South 19th, Terre Haute, was booked at 10:31 p.m. Wednesday. Disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

 Timothy F. Watkins, 41, 3400 block of South Fifth, Terre Haute, was booked at 2:53 a.m. Thursday. Disorderly conduct.

 Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
