TERRE HAUTE — A Sept. 14 trial date has been set for a Terre Haute man charged with 21 counts of burglary and receiving stolen property, in addition to meth-related charges.
Ebb Howard, 30, appeared in Vigo Superior Court 3 on Tuesday where the new court date was set. He had originally been scheduled to go on trial Tuesday, but the case was continued due to congestion on the court’s calendar.
Howard and his wife Heather, 30, were arrested Oct. 22, 2009, after Terre Haute Police served a search warrant for the Howard residence on South 25th Street. At that time, police found methamphetamine and a meth lab at the residence.
Ebb Howard was charged with class-A felony dealing in methamphetamine, class-B felony dealing in methamphetamine, and class-C felony possession of methamphetamine. He also faces 21 class-C felony burglary charges and 21 class-D felony receiving stolen properties charges related to break-ins at storage units located throughout the county, including locations on Wabash Avenue, U.S. 41, Haythorne Avenue, Park Avenue, Indiana 63, Indiana 46, Spring Clean Drive and the Village Quarter.
Bail for Howard remains set at $75,000, with no 10 percent allowed.
