INDIANAPOLIS —
Two debates have been scheduled for next month between the candidates in Indiana’s U.S. Senate election, although organizers are still calling them tentative as final details are worked out.
The Indiana Debate Commission said Tuesday that Senate debates involving Republican Richard Mourdock, Democrat Joe Donnelly and Libertarian Andrew Horning are planned for Oct. 15 in Indianapolis and Oct. 23 in New Albany.
The nonpartisan commission also announced dates for three gubernatorial candidate debates among Republican Mike Pence, Democrat John Gregg and Libertarian Rupert Boneham. Those will be Oct. 10 in Zionsville, Oct. 17 in South Bend, and Oct. 25 in Fort Wayne.
Voters are being invited to submit questions for the candidates through the commission’s website at indianadebatecommission.com.
