TERRE HAUTE — Try a new approach to control drugs

A report was published in your paper of May 14, that 49 mutilated bodies of Mexicans were left on the highway of Mexico by the drug mafia. It was stated that about 47,000 Mexicans have been killed by the opposing gangs of the drug mafia and the drug cartel is now strong enough even to challenge the authority of the Mexican government.

But does any one know why? The average American is busy watching ballgames with a glass of wine in hand and rarely cares for anything else on earth  and the drug mafia’s handling a $500 billion business with murders are of no concern to them.

There are 20 million drug addicts in the USA who, like the slaves, have to pay the mafia for the addictive drugs. For over two decades I have been writing about this problem but nobody in power ever paid any attention to me. But strangely the Swiss government is doing exactly what I suggested and has eliminated the drug problem from the country. Decades ago there was no drug problem at all, but then the drug mafia found out that money was in dealing with contraband drugs and went for it.

Using the mafia gangs they have been turning many people, particularly the dropout students from broken homes, into addicts. But our leaders are simply ignoring the problem as if it does not exist any more.

Induced by the Taliban, the Afghan farmers, instead of producing wheat or corn, are producing poppy bulbs and 90 percent of the opium produced in the world. And the opium is then smuggled through Turkmenistan to Europe where tons of heroin, worth hundreds of billions, are produced from opium and brought to Mexico. Strangely the rich Americans of the oil companies supply the chemicals needed to produce heroin from the opium and do not care about how the heroin is going to hurt the human race.

The Mexican mafia smuggles this heroin and the cocaine produced in Colombia and the South American countries to the USA. With drug money the Mexican mafia became most powerful and are killing the people.

Marijuana is very useful as a drug to control the serious side effects caused by anti-cancer drugs. But our government is filling the jails with the people using even one marijuana cigarette or growing one plant and are spending about $30,000 per each prisoner each year.

But this inhumanity can be removed in a year if only our leaders would accept my suggestions.

The use of these contrabands must be decriminalized and the addicts be treated as patients with sympathy. A group of doctors and nurses will be duly trained to identify the contrabands, their methods of use, signs and symptoms and the methods to treat them.

The government will authorize some of the drug manufacturing companies to produce heroin, cocaine and marijuana products under control like morphine and opium as used in the hospitals.

Use of any contraband outside of the hospitals or clinics will be punishable.

The addicts will be invited to come to the centers attached to the hospitals and clinics to get a free dose of the contraband. An addict, like a slave to addiction, will steal, rob or even kill to get the money to pay the drug dealer. But getting a free dose, they will not have to rob or kill anyone and there will be fewer crimes and people will be safer. The addicts will get the dose under supervision of the nurse and will go back to his/her work.

If we continue the process there will be no money for the drug mafia and they will have to stop producing contraband.

No law or police action can control the mafia, as they bribe the officials or threaten them with deaths of their families. But with money gone out, the mafia will have to give up the drug business and go for something else to earn money. But will our lawmakers listen to reason?

Our president is ruining the USA

What will happen next?

What has happened to the good old USA when our president and vice president have endorsed same-sex marriages?

I never thought I would see the day when this would happen.

All Christians, wake up, we do not want this kind of leadership.

The Bible tells us in 1st Corinthians Chapter 6 verse 19 that homosexual offenders will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I know I want to go to heaven. It must be a beautiful place.

Our president was against same-sex marriages when he was running for president. He must feel the homosexual vote is important to get re-elected.

I’ve got news for him. He will certainly lose a lot of Christian votes.

He has got us deeply in debt, ruined our health care, raised taxes and the economy is still bad and now he has revealed he is a non-Christian.

It can’t get any worse than this.

Wake up, good people. Let’s get him out of there before he completely destroys our great country.
