Super Bowl raises parking, gas prices
Welcome to Indiana! Welcome to the Super Bowl in Indianapolis this year! To show our Hoosier hospitality we will raise our parking places downtown Indy from $6 to almost $100 a day. Whatever happened to any price-gouging laws? What is the Attorney General of Indiana going to do about this? Oh, I forgot. He’s too busy with all the gas stations in Indiana who for the past three weeks have raised their prices 30 cents a gallon. (What a joke that is.) Well, better get gas now because the time the Super Bowl gets here, it’ll probably be $5 a gallon.

Obama should OK energy job issue
Feb. 21, 2012, a day that will live in infamy if President Obama delays (again) after four years the signing of documents that will create instantly 20,000 jobs with an additional 100,000 waiting in the wings.
His decree will start the process of breaking the stronghold of Middle East oil and OPEC that has made us dependent on those oil cartels. For the first time we can become energy dependent on no one else but ourselves. The proposed 1,700-mile keystone XL pipeline will accomplish this in a few short years.
Canada houses the Alberta Oil Sands which is the second largest oil reserve in the world ... in the world. Our great neighbor, ally and trading partner has the area available for purchase. Reportedly China has visions of securing it. For economic reasons Canada will not wait. It’s first-come, first-served. They understand jobs, bottom line and common sense.
When President Obama was elected, gas averaged $1.83 per gallon. With reports of $5 per gallon fuel looming in the near future, the privately funded/private industry pipeline is a “No Brainer.”
Why, Why, Why, Why, Why, Why , Why, Why can’t the powers to be stand up for American workers who know how to drill, refine, build and maintain a project of this magnitude and are ready and willing to accomplish it?
Please, Mr. President, don’t let the Feb. 21 deadline bury a nation you took an oath to protect and defend. As Larry the Cable Guy sez …“Get-Er-Done.”
