Great job done at diesel show

I read your article in an August edition about the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza. It was very good. The event brought lots of people to our town which also brings lots of money for the people who have businesses in the south end. It also provided jobs for people who needed money.

There is only one thing you didn’t say. Who did the security at the fairgrounds? I know they did an excellent job because the paper said that incidents were down about 50 percent from the previous year. Also, an Indiana State policeman told them job well done. By the way he has been there 30-plus years.

Vigo County hired this security company to do this job so maybe someone else could use their services for some other event. The security company was Graham’s Security based out of Bloomington. They had eight officers to work from noon on Thursday until everyone left on Sunday. I would like to say congrats. Ladies and gentlemen, you did a great job.

Right to express is being denied

Americans’ free speech rights are being attacked by the “PC” police. Everywhere citizens are being denied their right to express their opinions.

Our republic cannot stand when opinions about politics, religion, or any other subject are denied while “officially accepted” opinions are held as truth. Think about it. Do you want to be censored for expressing your opinion?
