PREP ROUNDUP: Sullivan girls fall in OT to Owen Valley

Spencer — With a chance to tie for a share of the Western Indiana Conference, the Sullivan girls high school basketball team had opportunities to win in regulation, but the Golden Arrows lost 47-43 in overtime to Owen Valley.

Owen Valley clinched the outright title, improving to 6-0.

Rhagen Smith had 22 points for Sullivan, who could have a chance to play Owen Valley in this week’s sectional.

• North Central 90, North Vermillion 57 — At Farmersburg, Ethan Stanifer tied the school record for 3-pointers in a game with seven, leading the Thunderbirds with 21 points.

Bobby Swaby added 19, Tyler Howkinson had 15 and Jordan Stefancik 13 for the Thunderbirds. Jacob Rankin had 14 for the Falcons.
