Championship games will be played tonight in the Little Illini Conference basketball tournaments at Red Hill High School.
Marshall will meet Lawrenceville in the girls game that tips off at 6 CST, followed by Flora and Marshall in the boys title tilt.
The Marshall girls team is 21-1 and ranked 14th in the Class 2A poll. The Lions have won 16 in row since losing to No. 7-ranked Mount Carmel in a tournament.
Flora is the defending champ and takes a 22-2 mark into the boys game. The Wolves are ranked seventh in the 2A poll. Marshall’s boys are 15-5 and dropped a close decision to Flora earlier this season.
Casey met Hutsonville-Palestine for third place Thursday following the consolation championship game.

• Clay City 75, Eastern Greene 33 — At Clay City, the Eels celebrated Senior Night for the most successful class of girls in school history by wrapping up an unbeaten season in the SouthWestern Indiana Athletic Conference.
Among the Clay City seniors, Carmela Roeschlein scored 21, Brielle Drelick 20, Abby Reed 11, Allie Miller eight and Michaela Riggs six. Junior Madison Booe added nine points.
Brittany Igel led the Thunderbirds with 11 points.

Football
n Valley players honored — Several Wabash Valley football players were honored recently by being named to the All-Region 6 team by the Indiana Football Coaches Association.
Vigo County players selected are Terre Haute North offensive tackle Dakota Vermillion and Terre Haute South safety Tsali Lough, both of whom have given verbal commitments to attend Indiana State, and North punter A.J. Hughes, who has committed to Virginia Tech.
Others on the all-region team are Damon Hyatt of Northview, listed as a cornerback; Zach Lyday of North Central, the offensive at-large player; tight end Lane Clark of North Vermillion; offensive lineman Levi App of Greencastle; and running back Rob Gibson of South Putnam.
Also on the team is fullback Isaac Beverstock of Brownsburg, who announced an ISU commitment on Twitter recently.
