Prep roundup: Terre Haute South rallies, pulls away from Rockville

Visiting Terre Haute South battled from an early 9-2 deficit into a 12-12 tie at the end of the first quarter in girls high school basketball Thursday, then went on to a 51-33 nonconference win over Rockville.

Haley Seibert scored 19 points for the Braves, while Beth Mahurin had 12 for the Rox.

• Jamboree tonight — Terre Haute North is host again for the boys basketball jamboree featuring Northview and the three Vigo County high schools.

West Vigo and Terre Haute South play the first quarter beginning at 7 p.m., followed by Terre Haute North vs. Northview, North vs. South and West Vigo vs. Northview.

Admission is $5.
