Freshman Davey Inman, in his first varsity start, struck out 10 batters from the visitors from across the state line, scattering eight hits in seven innings for the Vikings.
Cade Lindsay paced the Vikings with two hits.
Cody Thornton went 3 for 4 with four RBIs to lead West Vigo to a 12-4 win on Tuesday at South Vermillion.
