Shakamak rode Brodie Crowe’s 24-point effort to a 60-38 SouthWestern Indiana Athletic Conference victory over North Central on Saturday.
The Lakers shook up Friday’s defeat at Barr-Reeve to move to 8-9 and 1-3 in the SWIAC.
Austin Jewell led the Thunderbirds (5-10, 0-5) with 13 points.

Wrestling
• Two advance for Rox — At Crawfordsville, the two Rockville wrestlers advanced from the Crawfordsville Sectional as the Rox finished 10th overall. North Montgomery won the sectional.
Individually, Jonah Taylor placed 6th in the 113 class after losing by fall to Douglas of Crawfordsville. Jake Thurman was runner up in the 138 class losing by fall to Barrett of Southmont. (Barrett is undefeated.).
At 145, Tate Lindsey finished 4th losing by 6-0 decision to May of North Montgomery. At 220, Brendon Lucas placed 6th losing by fall to Morse of Crawfordsville.
Thurman and Lindsey will advance to the North Montgomery Regionals next Saturday.
