Black tops Gold in WVFCA All-Star shootout

TERRE HAUTE — Black All-Stars defeated Gold All-Stars in a Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association All-Star game for the ages.

Andre Strohm kicked a 32-yard field goal with 43 seconds to go to give the Black squad a 44-41 victory Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Strohm is a former Marshall, Ill., standout who will play for Indiana State next season.

Riverton Parke’s Gary Secuskie made an interception with 16 seconds to go. He had a defensive touchdown in the first half on a fumble return.
