Sullivan girls take season opener at South Vermillion

TERRE HAUTE — The Sullivan girls high school basketball team opened its season Thursday with a 58-47 road victory against Western Indiana Conference rival South Vermillion.

Kelsey Burr paced the Golden Arrows with 14 points, and Lane Bond added 12. Annie Clark and Lara Benningfield added 11 points each.

Allie Milam and Jalen Brower paced South Vermillion with 11 points.

Indiana University recruit Aulani Sinclair had 30 points for Eminence.
