Prep roundup: BOW girls hoops rescheduled
The Banks of the Wabash girls high school basketball tournament has revised its schedule as a result of Rockville’s football team competing in a regional game Friday night.
Games originally scheduled Friday will now be played on Thursday at Turkey Run, with the third-place and championship games on Saturday as originally scheduled.
Admission is $5 each day.

In girls basketball Monday:
• Linton 54, Monrovia 47, OT — At Linton, the Miners were forced to come from behind almost the entire game and even in overtime, but finally pulled away at the foul line in the season opener for both teams.
Savannah Mason had 18 points and Megan Barnes, after first-half foul difficulty, added 10 for the Miners. Dillon scored a game-high 19 for the visitors before fouling out.

North Central senior Tyler Howkinson has not been the Thunderbirds’ prime-time-player — or “PTPer” as Dick Vitale would say — as he ranks fourth on the team in scoring at less than 10 points per game.
