Mt. Zion, Ill. — Ben Jones and Meyers Leonard were the one-two punch as usual for visiting Robinson on Saturday as the Maroons won an Apollo Conference game at Mt. Zion by a 75-62 score.
Jones had a game-high 25 points and also grabbed eight rebounds for the visitors while Leonard — the 7-foot Illinois recruit — was limited by foul trouble but still had 19 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots.
Derek Hannahs added 15 points and Austin Siler 12 for the winners, while Jordan Forner scored 20 for the Braves.
