West Vigo’s boys tennis team improved to 5-2 on the season as it defeated Rockville 4-1 on Thursday.
The Vikings swept the doubles matches. Included was a 6-0, 6-0 win by Logan Benefiel and Michael Vermillion at No. 2 doubles. Kyle Watson also won a marathon match with Rockville’s Garrett Baysinger at No. 1 singles. Both sets went to a tiebreaker as Watson won 7-5, 7-4.
