Dine with a Doc in Terre Haute moved up a week

Senior Education Ministries, Inc. regularly schedules Dine with a Doc on the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Wabash Senior Citizen’s Center at 300 S. Fifth St. Due to the holidays, the next Dine with a Doc will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Dr. Thomas E. Rea, director of Psychological Services at Mehta Behavioral Health Unit at Terre Haute Regional Hospital will be this Wednesday’s guest.

Rea is a licensed clinical psychologist who joined Terre Haute Regional Hospital in August 2007. Rea provides individual, group, couples and family therapy to, acts as a case manager for, and conducts assessments with patients on the Mehta Behavioral Health Unit. He also functions as the director of Psychological Services for Regional Hospital, providing many of the same services to patients throughout the facility.

A question and answer period will follow his discussion.

Additionally, Theresa Ortega, a certified handwriting analyst, will take participants through an interactive exercise in analyzing their own handwriting, particularly helpful at this time of year when “winter blues” and holidays can make everything seem overwhelming. Learn to quickly spot signs that you or a friend may need some help.

Lunch will be provided by Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus

There will be an opening prayer and veterans in attendance will be recognized. Health care providers will share information about their services and provide door prizes.

Additionally, Robin Collins with Springhill Village will provide blood sugar and blood pressure information.

Seating is limited and reservations are required. Call 812-232-2345.
