Indiana Blood Center plans January blood drives

Indiana Blood Center hosts hundreds of blood drives each month. Below are locations, dates and times of blood drives open to the community, by county, for January.

The center’s mission is to meet the blood needs of patients at more than 60 community hospitals across Indiana.

Note that blood drive dates and times can sometimes change. Donors can find the most up-to-date drive information or schedule an appointment by visiting www.donorpoint.org or by calling 800-632-4722 and selecting option 4.

Clay County — Jan, 11, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Clay City High School.

Parke County — Jan. 24, noon to 4 p.m., Parke County REMC; Jan. 25, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Coyote Hollow Amish School House.

Putnam County — Jan. 10, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Greencastle High School; Jan. 17, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Cloverdale High School; Jan. 18, 3 to 5 p.m., Mill Pond; Jan. 26, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Coatsville Community Center.

Sullivan County — Jan. 15, 6:30 to 8 a.m., Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Vermillion County — Jan. 2, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., West Central Community Hospital.

Vigo County — Jan, 2, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Union Hospital, First Floor Atrium; Jan. 2, 7 to 11 p.m., Union Hospital, Bloodmobile; Jan. 9, 2 to 6 p.m., Terre Town Elementary School; Jan. 17, 7 to 10:30 a.m., Terre Haute Waste Water Treatment Plant; Jan. 23, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Ivy Tech Community College; Jan. 23, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., McLean High School; Jan. 24, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., North Vigo High School; Jan. 30, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., ISU Bleed Blue, HMSU Dede II; Jan. 31, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., ISU Bleed Blue, HMSU Dede II.
