Webinar today on social media, disabilities, workplace

How are the rights of people with disabilities in the workplace impacted by the growing influence of social media? Should people with disabilities be concerned about disclosing their disabilities online?

With millions of Americans using sites like Facebook and Twitter to share information, the relations among applicants, employers and employees are changing rapidly. What protections remain for people with disabilities as the line between private and public information becomes increasingly blurred?

A webinar today from ADA-Indiana titled “Social Media, Disabilities, and Employment Protections” will cover these increasingly important issues from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

This webinar is free, but registration is required. To register, visit www.ada-audio.org/Webinar/ADALegal and click on “Register” on the left side of the page.

For questions, more information or technical support, contact Great Lakes ADA Center at fifthfreedom.org/u/k5.
