Volunteers plan Chocolate Road Show
Members of the Paris Community Hospital volunteers are planning the Chocolate Road Show for Dec. 3 and 4. The South Bend Chocolate Fundraising Co. will have a display set up in the hallway of the new entrance to the hospital and clinic (rotunda) from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The South Bend Chocolate Company began in 1991 and has expanded to 10 company-owned stores in northern Indiana and 10 franchised locations in Indiana and Michigan. The company makes licensed chocolates for three Big 10 universities and offers wholesale chocolates throughout the United States. SBCC offers many kinds of chocolates including sugar-free as well as boxed and specialty gift boxes, fruits, fresh roasted nuts, crunches, and fresh coffee and condiments. The company also does wedding favors and baskets.
According to Pat Spillman of the PCH volunteers, “There is something for everyone in the collection, and, of course, the gift boxes are perfect for the Christmas season.” Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
