• National Alliance on Mental Illness, Wabash Valley affiliate for improving the lives of people afflicted by serious and persistent mental illness, 6:30 to 8 p.m., third Thursday, Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar St. Call Betty Porter at 812-877-9950.

• Stroke Support Group for survivors and family, for learning how to address the physical, mental and emotional changes after a stroke through sharing experiences and lending support, 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Medical Rehab Unit, fourth floor of Union Hospital East, 1606 N.
