Special to the Tribune-Star
TERRE HAUTE —
Glamour and drama is coming to Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus with the Medical Masquerade Ball in support of Senior Education Ministries Inc. and Dine with a Doc program.
The ball begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus, 1850 Howard Wayne Drive in Terre Haute. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, cake, a live harpist, dancing, a DJ, a silent auction, a complimentary photo, a time for fellowship — and masks.
The event will raise funds for the ongoing operations support and program support needs for senior citizen communities in the Wabash Valley. All proceeds will support Senior Education Ministries, which offers monthly, quarterly and annual educational programs at no charge to its senior citizens and their families.
Senior Education Ministries has partnered with various senior and community centers which function as a classroom site in the Wabash Valley to make the programs available to the senior citizens in multiple locations. This ensures accessibility, because many elderly are unable to travel because of finances or health concerns. Tickets to the masquerade are $20 per couple ($15 for seniors) or $15 per person ($10 for seniors). Donations are tax-deductible.
