Dining with Diabetes classes to begin Feb. 27

TERRE HAUTE — The Purdue Extension-Vermillion/Parke County Offices are offering Dining with Diabetes sessions from 9 to 11 a.m. beginning Feb. 27 at the Parke County Extension Office, Rockville. The program will run through March 19.

The Dining with Diabetes program is a series of four sessions. The program is open to those with diabetes, their family members and caretakers. The series of four sessions is $25 per person or $40 per couple. Pre-registration and payment is required. Participants are encouraged to attend all class sessions.

Registration and program fee should be made payable to: Parke County CES Education Fund and mail to: Alice Alderson, P.O. Box 146, Rockville, IN  47872 by Feb. 20.

The phone number has been updated to help make it easier for callers to remember. The new toll-free number is 1-855-HELP-1ST (1-855-435-7178).

Hambrock also teamed with Bertoli, Devon Fuson and Scotty Noble to help the Braves with the 3,200 relay in a time of 8:36.
