The Vermillion Parke Community Health Center is celebrating National Health Center Week by having a health fair from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 10 at the center.
The event will offer: immunizations (fees are based on family size and income); blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings; games; interactive inflatables; free food; door prizes; music and more. There will be more than 10 health information booths on various topics including breast cancer awareness, men’s health, women’s health, children’s health, sun damage, tobacco awareness, curves, prenatal information and Relay for Life. Attendees will also have a chance to get a free picture taken with the Indianapolis Colt’s cheerleaders.
