La Tienda De Maria, 5127 S. U.S. 41 (3 Critical, 4 Non-Critical) In meat case found raw beef stomach stored on same baking sheet as cooked pork chops, in produce cooler found rotten tomatillos; green chili sauce, cooked onions and pork not marked with date of consumption.

Jonesey’s Eastside Diner, 8775 Wabash Ave. (3 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) On counter in kitchen found hashbrowns, diced potatoes and raw eggs at 61-69 degrees-should be 41 degrees or less, observed employee touching biscuits with bare hands, No sanitizer measured in dishwasher.

Wendy’s #81, 2049 Lafayette Ave. (2 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Found wiping cloth in handwash sink; observed greasy stainless steel containers on clean rack.

  I always liked Granola bars. Also Granola, to eat by handful. Pat Coolley always keeps granola on hand to nibble on. I don’t like raisins so I use dried cherries or cranberries instead. Instead of brown sugar use Splenda or your choice. I also use sugar-free syrup. So my husband, Gene, can eat these bars, too. This recipe comes from Rose Hill Community Church.
