With rhubarb, strawberries and cherries being about ready at the same time, this recipe is so easy. This one calls for rhubarb and strawberries. You can use cherries instead of rhubarb. Cherries and blackberries are good also. Just try different fruit and flavored Jell-O. With this recipe you can change and try different fruit. Use fresh or frozen rhubarb.
Rhubarb Dump Cake
4 cups sliced rhubarb
11⁄2 cups sugar
1 quart sliced strawberries
1 large box white cake mix (dry)
1 stick margarine, cut into small squares
13⁄4 cups water
• Place all ingredients in order given in a 9 x 13 inch pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
• Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour.
