TERRE HAUTE —
This recipe uses a small, square, 8-inch cake pan. This recipe is from Mary Hunter.
Instead of sugar, I use sweetener. Gene gets to have a little bit of sweet. You can get sugar-free pie filling. With a diabetic, make sure you adjust for the fruit.
Remember, I take two different brands of sweetener.
In this case, don’t use as much as the recipe calls for. With 1 cup of sugar, I use 1⁄2 to 3⁄4 cup of sweetener. Adjust to your own taste.
It’s such a quick and easy dessert. Thanks Mary.
