Ryan’s, 5501 S. U.S. 41 (6 Critical, 6 Non-Critical) Handwash sinks in produce prep area and dishroom found dirty; observed employee load dirty dishes then unload clean dishes without washing hands between duties; observed employee rinse/wash hands in pre-soak sink in dishroom; found containers of rotten green peppers and cooked Linguini in upright cooler in frying area; several containers of various cooked pasta not marked with date of consumption; beef steak & spaghetti in under counter cooler, raw beef & cooked noodles by grill and chocolate mix in soft serve machine found at 49-52 degrees — should be 41 degrees or less. Establishment voluntarily closed, will return for opening inspection on 3/23/12.

Page’s Food Market, Inc., 2600 Lafayette Ave. (2 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Mac & beef, pea salad and carrot bowtie pasta salad in open face cooler found at 49-55 degrees - should be 41 degrees or less; meat grinder found with debris.

Valley Grill, 2170 N. Third St. (2 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Spaghetti sauce and ham, bacon, sausage blend found without date marking; no sanitizer measured in dishwasher.

Cackleberries Restaurant, 303 S. Seventh St. (2 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Employee improperly washing hands between loading dirty and unloading clean dishes; paper towel, scrubber, wiping cloth water dumped in handwash sink.

Wendy’s #78, 229 S. Third St. (2 Critical) Employee observed touching French fries with bare hands; reheated chili 89 degrees after 4 hours (discarded).

Kerman Grotto, 400 W. U.S. 40 (1 Critical) Found small brown bugs in bar holder for soda nozzle.

The Café, 2723 S. Seventh St. (1 Critical) Chicken noodle soup held at 126 degrees - should be 135 degrees or above.
