Association plans Gardeners’ Gathering in March

TERRE HAUTE — Are you getting anxious to start your gardening? Come and enjoy a fun-filled day with gardening information provided by Wabash Valley Master Gardeners’ Association.

The 2010 spring seminar Gardeners’ Gathering is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 13 at the Operating Engineers Hall at 6801 U.S. 41 South. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for registration and continental breakfast. Lunch is included in the registration fee, plus great door prizes will be given throughout the day. The seminar is open to the public.

Plan to sit back and enjoy presentations of just a few of Indiana’s beautiful public gardens, plus learn landscaping tips and ideas from a prominent Wabash Valley landscaper to make your own gardens just as beautiful.

Featured speakers include representatives from Elkhart County Amish Quilt Gardens, Oldfields’ estate grounds and gardens of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indiana University’s Hilltop Garden and Nature Center and The Indianapolis White River Gardens.

And to wrap it all up and help bring reality to your own garden will be Dallas Foster of Landscapes by Dallas Foster Inc. Speakers will be able to provide you with information, ideas and tips to help you create your own beautiful gardens.
