ROBINSON, Ill. —
Auditions for Lincoln Trail College’s spring musical “Jekyll & Hyde” will be at 6 p.m. CDT Tuesday and Wednesday, with callbacks Jan. 19, in the Zwermann Arts Center Theater.
The first full cast rehearsal will be Jan. 23. The cast will be posted online Jan. 20 at www.iecc.edu/ltc under the Performing Arts Department tab, and will also be available by calling.
“Jekyll and Hyde,” based on the classic by Robert Louis Stevenson, tells the story of a young man seeking a cure for his father’s mental illness by experimenting with the separation of good and evil to a disastrous end. The show features beautiful music by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse. Well-known songs include “Someone Like You” and “This is the Moment.” Roles are available for actors high school-age and older, with many singing roles large and small. Most of the cast sings but some non-singing roles are available. Performances will be March 23, 24, 25 (matinee), 30 and 31.
Audition packets may be picked up in the Performing Arts Office between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and are also available online. For more information call (618) 544-8657, ext. 1433.
