Lemon Brothers return for fundraising concert

TERRE HAUTE — The Lemon Brothers Band of West Terre Haute will perform June 18 at a fundraising concert from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sam’s Club at 4350 S. U.S. 41.

Brothers Logan, 10, and Dylan, 8, have performed around the Wabash Valley at charity events and performing arts shows for more than two years. The Sugar Creek Consolidated Elementary students have entertained at several Vigo County schools events, the March for Babies, and plays regularly at Sugar Creek Baptist Church in West Terre Haute. The upcoming concert will benefit Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

In the band Logan plays lead guitar and vocals and Dylan plays drums, bass guitar and vocals. Their musical tastes are widely varied including rock and roll, country and gospel blues. Their repetoire reflects their major influences such as The Beatles, Johnny Cash, The White Stripes and Jason Aldean. They play with a lot of groove and enthusiasm and have been described as a really tight band with “old souls.” Both boys study at Bastian Music Studios, where they have been playing music and singing since age 4.
