Winery plans next murder mystery

MARSHALL, ILL. — Castle Finn Winery is planning its next murder mystery dinner “Gone with the passing of the wind” for Oct. 20.

Hors dourves start at 5:30 p.m. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per person and are on sale now.

The main course will consist of ham, stuffed chicken breasts, baked corn casserole, green beans, red potatoes, tossed salad, dinner rolls and various desserts.

Riders Run to

benefit Burn Camp

A First Legion Riders Run benefitting Indiana Children’s Burn Camp is planned for Saturday at American Legion Krietenstein Post 104, 2690 Fort Harrison Road, in Terre Haute. Registration will be from 9 to 10 a.m. with the first bike out at 10:30 a.m. Cost is $10 for drivers and $5 for passengers.

Events of the day include:

• a biscuit and gravy breakfast at 9 a.m. Cost is $3 for registered drivers or passengers; all others are $5.

• a fried chicken/ spaghetti dinner at 4 p.m. Cost is $5. There will be live music.
