TERRE HAUTE —
The Terre Haute North High School Theater Department will present this year’s fall play, “Twelve Angry Jurors,” at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 5, along with a 2:30 p.m. Sunday matinee on Nov. 6 in the school’s auditorium.
The play is adapted from the classic 1954 teleplay “Twelve Angry Men,” written by Reginald Rose. The play looks inside the jury room as jurors discuss the fate of a teenage boy accused of murdering his father. The play centers on two jurors, portrayed by Wesley Cornwell and Jordan Allen, who can’t agree on anything concerning the guilt or innocence of the teenager. The play is directed by Cathy Sponsler, Terre Haute North’s speech and theater arts teacher.
Tickets are $5 for students and $7.50 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth inside the school at 3434 Maple Ave. before each show.

Kick off summer with Banks of Wabash Festival tonight
The 29th Annual Banks of the Wabash Festival will run from tonight through June 2 at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute. The festival offers bingo, crafters, food, nightly music, a merchandise mart and will feature Luehrs’ Rides and Midway Games.
