TERRE HAUTE —
Bark in the Park is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11, at Fairbanks Park. The event, a three-mile charity walk, will benefit the Terre Haute Humane Society. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the walk at 10:15. Cost is $15 per person.
There is no charge for dogs. The start and finish line will be at the amphitheater. Other features include microchipping, DNA tests, Terre Haute Humane Society merchandise, Terre Haute Police Department K9 demos and other vendors. All are welcome with or without dogs.
