The Landing to offer comedy night, Crosley dinner theater

TERRE HAUTE — The Landing at Fort Harrison is planning the following events for the remainder of November:

• Event: Comedy Night — Gerry Grossman & Jacob Williams

Time: Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.; show 8 to 9:30 p.m. Today

Cost: Without dinner: $15 day of the event; with dinner: $20

What to know: Grossman is known as “The Human Jukebox.” 

His medleys of crowd-requested hits are woven around his comedy in a performance that keeps every audience rocking with music and rolling with laughter. A Chicago native who has been performing since he was 14, he has recorded extensively and appeared on TV and radio shows across the country. Williams has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Andy Dick, Tom Green and Whitney Cummings. This year he opened for both Pauly Shore and Nick Cannon’s Showtime specials in Las Vegas.

He lives in Chicago where he studied improv and tours nationally with stand-up. He is known for bringing audiences to convulsive fits of laughter, thanks to his unique comic voice and incisive dry wit. Later this year, he’ll appear on the Bob and Tom All-Stars Tour.

• Event: Dinner Theater with the Crosley Radio Players; live recreation of ’30s, ’40s and ’50s radio shows - adventure, drama, music!

Time: Buffet opens at 5:30 p.m.; show begins at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 1.

Cost: $1 per person; a portion of the proceeds to benefit Cross Tabernacle Preparatory School
