Lemon Brothers bring act to Block Party

For the past year The Lemon Brothers Band has been rocking around the Wabash Valley at festivals, charity events and talent contests.

The young band consists of Logan Lemon, 11, on lead guitar and vocals, Keith Butts, 10, on drums, and Dylan Lemon, 9, on bass and vocals. Their musical tastes are widely varied and include rock ’n’ roll, country rock and gospel blues. Their repertoire reflects influences such as The Beatles, Johnny Cash, The White Stripes, AC/DC and Jason Aldean.

All of the boys have deep musical roots, studying and playing music since age 5.

The Lemon Brothers have been described as a tight band with old souls.

The band recently won first place at the Marshall’s Got Talent contest, entertained The Relay for Life, and staged concerts at local elementary schools to promote reading.

Check out The Lemon Brothers Band at the Terre Haute Block Party from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Other upcoming shows include: The Clinton Little Italy Festival, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 2, the Marshall Autumn Festival on Sept. 16 and the Cory Apple Festival, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 29.  For more information, videos, and gig dates visit www.thelemonbrothersband.com.
