Southern gospel artists to perform

Casey, Ill. — Southern gospel recording artists The Chosen Ones and The Lesters will present two Christmas banquet concerts at Richard’s Farm Restaurant in Casey, Ill., on  Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

The banquet will be served at 6 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 each evening. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by calling the Casey White Oak Church of God at 217-932-5771.

The Chosen Ones feature two generations of smooth family harmony, blending both traditional and progressive southern gospel music. Celebrating 36 years in gospel music, they have performed throughout the United States on television, radio, and during personal appearances. They have released more than 20 recordings, including four national radio releases.

The Lesters, a well-known gospel group often called “St. Louis’ First Family of Gospel Music,” have been sharing the Word through song for four generations across America, with more than an 80-year history of performances and recordings.

Seating is limited. Anyone ordering eight tickets will receive a reserved table.
