OBLONG, Ill. —
The Crawford County Fairgrounds will be the site of this year’s Crawford County 4-H Fair.
The fair begins on July 19 and continues through July 26. All Crawford County residents are welcome to attend the fair and see the projects made by 4-H’ers during the past year.
Highlights of the fair include general project judging on July 19, the horse show on July 20, poultry and rabbit shows on July 21, livestock weigh-in, livestock exhibitor’s meeting, dog and cat show and barnyard olympics on July 22; wine show July 23; dairy, sheep and goat show on July 24, and the beef show on July 25. The 4-H Fair will culminate with the 4-H Livestock Auction at 1 p.m. July 26. General projects will be on display from July 20-26.

George Jones, 81, dies today in Nashville
