Tourism Board planning ‘Made-in-Greene County’ event

The Greene County Tourism Advisory Board will host its first “Made-in-Greene-County” Showcase on Sept. 29 at the White River Valley school gymnasium.

The event will showcase the varied talent and handiwork of residents from across Greene County.

The doors will be open to shoppers from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature an outdoor farmers market and is limited to vendors who make their products in Greene County.

All vendor booths are free. Booth space is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and all interested vendors must submit a vendor registration form to request a booth reservation. Nonprofit organizations or groups that want to have a small bake sale are encouraged to participate. Registration forms must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. Sept. 20.

Registration forms can be found at the Linton Public Library, Bloomfield Public Library or the Greene County Foundation office.  Completed forms can be dropped off at any of these locations or they can be scanned and sent to David Benefiel at solutions.dab@gmail.com.
