Ring in New Year with Stiffy Green

TERRE HAUTE — New Year’s Eve excitement begins at the Ohio Building where The Vigo County Historical Society presents “Stiffy Green’s Fur Ball.”

Doors open at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 with music beginning at 9 p.m.

All three levels of the Ohio Buildings — including the roof — will feature live entertainment, lots of great food, a cash bar, party favors and more.

On the roof — and under a heated tent — The Flying Jackson Cousins will perform their selection of acoustic rock classics.

On the second floor in the Ball Room, Marshall Rector & Easy Street will bring the best of New Orleans and big band jazz.

On the first floor, the Dave Frisse Band will present its dynamic selection of classic rock, blues and jazz.

Tickets are $75 and are now on sale at The Ohio Building. Tickets allow attendees to celebrate the coming New Year on all three floors. Total ticket sales will be limited to 382.

“It’s a great opportunity for a wonderful evening at a fair price,” said Gary Greiner. “There are different venues for different people, all within the same building. We’re raising money to help the historical society better serve the community.”

Guests must be 21 or older to enter.

Tickets can be reserved by calling 812-235-1145, by visiting TheOhioBuilding.com or by stopping by the Ohio Building.
