Award-winning recording artist and singer-songwriter Javier Mendoza has released his ninth and 10th full-length studio albums.
The all-English album “If You Dare” was release late in 2011.
The all-Spanish album “Vida Trabajo Amor” was released this July.
“If You Dare” is Mendoza’s most introspective album connecting with his family, his struggles with love and suffering, and society, while “Vida, Trabajo, Amor” explores the strength in life’s processes.
Mendoza has recently performed with Willie Nelson, Los Lobos, Blues Traveler, Ben Folds and Five For Fighting.
Mendoza was voted Best Solo Artist in St. Louis by The Riverfront Times and has toured around the country and around the world captivating small and large audiences with his songs, power and honesty.
Mendoza will be performing at the Coffee Ground with guitarist Jim Peters at 8:30 p.m. Friday. The Coffee Grounds is at 423 Wabash Ave., in downtown Terre Haute.
